| Abstract |
Marblehead Junior High Archives Historical Building Survey
The house at 80 Lafayette Street was originally located at 31 Barnard Street. This area, during the 18th and 19th century, was the boat building and ropewalk section of town. In 1921, the O'Connor Family moved the house to its present location. There is a Deed Report in the Requirements Folder that traces the owners from the early 1800's to 1959. The creators encountered many difficulties in the deeds office because the house had been moved from Barnard Street.
