Marblehead Jr. High Archives Historical Building Survey
This Early American Style home on 8 Washington Street was built in 1756. It is located in the heart of Olde Towne. Land was plentiful in that area at this time and the original owners were farmers. The original owner was Joseph Reddan. It is located near the Alley Steps (an old cowpath used in colonial times)and Elbridge Gerry's house at 44 Washington Street. Many notable exterior and interior features. |
