A B&W photo of approximately 50 boys/young men dressed in uniforms, with two men, dressed in officers uniforms. According to the Marblehead Magazine timeline, on January 16th, 1916, the 10th Deck Division was organized and mustered into service, consisting of three commissioned officers and 56 men. Headquarters were established at the old High School building on Pleasant Street. The company was federalized on March 29, 1917 and assigned to duty aboard USS Nebraska. |
