Abstract Four comic strips which came with the USS Marblehead ship's newspapers published in the late 1030's. They are all titled Little Elmer and drawn by Pat Kimberly.
A.) Is a cartoon about Elmer trying to borrow $5.00 to go on liberty in Singapore.
B.) Elmer and two other sailors are on liberty in Siam and Elmer get to ride the white elephant.
C&D.) Are identical with Elmer on lookout describing something he sees at sea as a freight train.
