| Description |
B&W photo taken on Nov. 21, 1927, of a portion of the gravel pit in Marblehead, bounded by Lafayette St., Maple St., and an unnamed way. The photo is taken from Maple St., looking North along Lafayette St. This location was across Maple St. from the former town dump. The gravel pit appears not to have been used in a long time and is filled with brush and trash. A Notarized document is pasted to the photo's backing which verifies the location and date of the photo. The photo was taken by Harold McIntosh, Photographer, and the notary was Richard Tutt. |
