Description A B&W photo of Lee Street, taken in 1890. The photo shows Lee Street from near where it intersects Gregory Street, looking north. The photo shows a number of houses on Lee St., a wagon and several people in the street. The steeple of the Baptist Church is visible over the head of a man in the wagon. The photo was originally incorrectly labelled "Front Street, Marblehead, 1890", subsequently corrected to Lee Street by an unknown person. The back of the photo is captioned "the end of Lee St. looking north - top of Old North Church seen over man in wagons head" - the reference to Old North Church is incorrect.
