Abstract A booklet issued by the Immigration and Naturalization Service to provide their personnel with English names and the foreign versions, variations and diminutives of them. A second section provides the foreign equivalents of US military and civilian titles.
The foreign versions of names are Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Rumanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovenian, Swedish, Ukrainian, Yiddish and Spanish.

The foreign variations of titles are from Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Armenia (USSR), Bulgaria, Burma, China, Czechosovakia, Egypt (UAR), Estonia (USSR), Ethiopia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iran, Iraq,Italy, Japan, Jordan, North Korea, South Korea, Latvia (USSR), Lebanon, Libya, Lithuania (USSR), Mongolia (USSR), Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Romina, Russia, Saudi-Arabia, Serbo-Croatia (Yugoslavia), Slovakia (Czechoslovakia) Slovenia (Yugoslavia), Spain, Sudan, Sweden, Syrian Arab Republic, Thailand, North Vietnam, South Vietnam and Yemen Arab Republic.
