Abstract Marblehead Jr. High Archives Historical Building Survey

The home at 5 Pond Street is in a "salt box" like shape with 4 fireplaces, fire plaque, beams on ceiling and very wide floor boards.

On page 23 is an interesting article from the Salem Evening News, dated July 10, 1936. It describes the home as being built in the 18th Century and of a different type than the merchant Princes' Homes.
