Abstract The newspaper of the USS Marblehead.

The Cover is on green paper and has a drawing of two sailors in dress white uniforms matching coins as to who would buy a during for the woman standing behind them. It is titled "Squeeze Play."

Page 1)This page contains The Masthead, (a newspaper term for info on the publisher, editors etc.) it also contains a baseball description of a squeeze play and also a note that a Naval custom has been abandoned to conform with an Army custom

Page 2) This page contains a list of Training Courses available at the Branch Educational Office in the Navy Yard, Cavite, P. I. The bottom of the page has a list of 18 who"have joined the ranks of ex-China sailors." They have been transfered "Stateside"

Page 3)This page notes the leaving of the Executive office, Commander F. K. O'Brien and the arrival of his relief Commander T. Shelley and the arrival of Lt (jg) C. J. Hoffer a dentist. The rest of the page has three jokes.

Page 4) This page contains a list of 53 men newly arrived for duty on USS Marblehead.
